Residential Mold Remediation
A residential mold remediation project was handled by ARC Abatement’s Dallas-Fort Worth office. We removed and disposed of drywall and flooring that was effected by water damage throughout the home. In addition to the drywall and flooring, the crawlspaces and remaining building materials were dried out to ensure no further mold growth could occur.
Mold contamination can wreak havoc on a space quickly. The issue arises as the materials that have become saturated are not able to dry out properly and continue to be a space for mold spores to multiply and spread rapidly. The only effective way to halt mold growth is the remove the affected materials and all wet materials completely. For wall material removal, a cut is made above the water damage, this is known as a flood cut. As the name implies, a flood cut is a cut made 12-18 inches above where the flood damage stopped so we can remove the drywall and address any moisture issues behind the actual wall.
