Asbestos Abatement in Preparation for Implosion
ARC played a role in reshaping the Austin skyline with the abatement of asbestos in the 9-story Ashbel Smith Hall. The implosion took place on March 25th to make way for a new 37-story, 665,000 SF tower housing retail and office space developed by Trammell Crow. ARC is also abating the historic, 3-story Claudia Taylor Johnson building, which was Austin’s Post Office in the early 1900s. It will be retained and redeveloped.
